Ken Vandermark and Hamid Drake's Moki Cherry Closing Concert Featured in ArtNews

CHICAGO - On Saturday, October 9, 2021 (Central Daylight Time) Corbett vs. Dempsey celebrated the closing of Moki Cherry: Communicate How: Paintings and Tapestries from 1967 - 1980 with a special closing concert. Jazz musicians, Ken Vandermark and Hamid Drake came together to perform Don Cherry compositions in homage to the work that Moki and Don did together over the decades, most of which involving music and tapestries.
