Keiichi Tanaami's Red Shade portrays a whirlwind of animated childhood memories of World War II interspersed with images of western pop. Produced when the artist was 85 years old, Tanaami created paintings and animated them into a dream world with 80 different scenes, each independently complete and freely arrangeable.
