East Wing
In the Main Gallery-Margot Bergman: the Dust Blows Forward, the Dust Blows Back. In the East Wing, Anne Harris. A spectacular and at times terrifying artist whose immaculate, rich, and darkly evocative images center on the female figure, Harris teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her exhibition history includes one-person shows at Roswell Museum, New Mexico; Bowdoin College, Maine; Monserrat College, Massachusetts; and gallery exhibits at D.C. Moore, NY; Nielsen Gallery, Boston; and Alexandre Gallery, NY. Corbett vs. Dempsey is proud to present Harris’s first solo exhibition in Chicago, mounting a small survey of recent graphite drawings and oil paintings in the gallery’s East Wing. The artist will be in attendance at the opening reception.
